Samira Nasr was born in Montreal, Canada. She came to New York to obtain a masters in Journalism, and started working in fashion publishing. She first became a Market Assistant at Vogue Magazine, before going on to work with Grace Coddington for 3 years. Following her love of journalism, she then became a fashion writer for Harpers Bazaar for a few years before quitting her job and going freelance as a fashion stylist. She served as Style Director for InStyle Magazine and has recently joined Elle as Fashion Director.
