TOM VAN DORPE
Biography
Tom Van Dorpe studied Visual Arts at the Saint Lucas Academy in Belgium. After his studies he began assisting stylists for various European publications such as French Vogue, Purple, iD, and Numero. With a strong interest in beauty and faces he also worked with casting directors, scouting for Jil Sander, and cast shows including Isabel Marant and Louis Vuitton Mens. Tom relocated to New York in 2008 to take his styling to the next level and assisted Joe Mckenna, Carine Roitfeld, Marie Chaix, Jessica Diehl and David Vandewal and then landed the position of fashion and market editor for V, V Man and V Spain. Tom currently lives in New York and contributes regularly to V, VMAN, and Vogue Spain. He has previously styled runway collections for Peter Pilotto and this season for Yigal Azrouel, Richard Chai, and Tim Coppens. He consults for Nike, Iceberg, and Hugo Boss.
